MOMENTA   is the resident performing arts company of The Academy of Movement and Music in Oak Park. MOMENTA is in reality two companies. The Senior Company is a small group of seasoned professionals augmented as needed by highly skilled advanced students. The Junior Company is a large group of talented young dancers who are developing their performing skills.

The Oak Park and River Forest Children's Chorus helps children and youth grow, learn, achieve, and experience joy through song. Through developmental, performanc-based programs that draw on a diverse range of the finest choral music, the Chorus transforms natural love of song into artistic excellence; teaches musical skills and appreciation; promotes personal poise, confidence and responsibility; developes cooperation and teamwork; and prepares leaders of artistic life for our communities.

The Oak Park Festival Theatre is a professional theatre company dedicated to staging classic dramatic works as they were meant to be appreciated: as thrilling, living popular theatre, primarily in a pastoral setting that reflects the beauty of the poetry. To connect the widest possible audience to the classics we will also perform in a variety of other settings. Our scope has widened to include classics, contemporary plays and works of a challenging nature.

The Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest is an award winning community orchestra, celebrating 76 seasons of great music. The season consists of five subscriptions concerts and a family concert. Rehearsals are Wednesday evening from 7:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. and are held at Concordia University in River Forest. Concerts are at First United Church, 848 Lake Street, Oak Park, except for the Family concert which is held at the Oak Park River Forest High School Auditorium at 201 North Scoville in Oak Park and are performed on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 PM.
